Volleyball Recap: Tri-West Hendricks Beats Avon for Their Third Straight Win

Tri-West Hendricks had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They put the hurt on the Avon Orioles with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Bruins have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Orioles, too.

Tri-West Hendricks walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15, 25-21.

Despite the defeat, Avon had strong showings from Ashley Ahern, who had four aces and three digs, and Stella Hamood, who had nine digs and one assist.

Tri-West Hendricks' victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Avon, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
