Basketball Recap: Madawaska Takes a Loss

Madawaska lost against Hodgdon back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Madawaska Owls took a 36-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hodgdon Hawks. The Owls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madawaska's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Hodgdon, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madawaska will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Washburn at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hodgdon, they will challenge Southern Aroostook at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
