Basketball Recap: East Bay Find Success

East Bay won the last time they faced Strawberry Crest, and Lamardea Anderson did his part to make sure it happened again. The East Bay Indians came out on top against the Strawberry Crest Chargers by a score of 67-59 on Friday thanks in part to Anderson, who went 8 for 10 on his way to 17 points and eight boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Despite the loss, Strawberry Crest still got an impressive performance from Cameron Crowe, who went 10 of 17 en route to 28 points and three steals. Crowe has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayson Lewis, who posted 11 points in addition to six assists and five steals.

East Bay's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Strawberry Crest, they moved to 11-11 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

East Bay will face off against Leto at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Strawberry Crest, they will challenge Mitchell at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Mitchell is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 64.8 points per game this season.
