Soccer Game Preview: Pace vs. Donna North

The Pace Vikings will face off against the Donna North Chiefs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pace's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Friday just wasn't the day for Pace's offense. They lost 3-0 to Porter on Friday. While losing is never fun, Pace can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 667th, while Porter are ranked 167th).

Meanwhile, after soaring to nine goals the game before, Donna North was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They came up short against Rivera, falling 4-1.

Donna North's loss dropped their record down to 7-3-1. As for Pace, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

Pace beat Donna North by a goal in their previous meeting back in March of 2025, winning 2-1. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Chiefs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
