Gaither is a perfect 3-0 against Robinson since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Cowboys will head out to challenge the Knights at 7:00 p.m.

Things were looking good for Gaither after they put the first runs on the board on Monday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Plant by a score of 3-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Cowboys in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Robinson never let their opponents score on Thursday. Everything went their way against Middleton as they made off with a 15-0 victory. Considering the Knights have won six contests by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Skyler Adams made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those seven strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in both of her plate appearances.

In other batting news, Lillian 'Lilly' Davis and Dalia 'Mae' Campbell did most of the damage at the plate: Davis scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Campbell went a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles, three RBI, and one run. The dominant performance also gave Davis a new career-high in RBI (three). Samantha 'Sami' Rojas also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Robinson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .857. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Robinson has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Gaither, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Gaither took their victory against Robinson in their previous matchup back in February by a conclusive 12-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cowboys since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
