Baseball Recap: Central Catholic Comes Up Short

Central Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 7-2 to the Clackamas Cavaliers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cavaliers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-1 on Tuesday.

Central Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Clackamas, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Central Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Reynolds on the 24th. As for Clackamas, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-1 victory against Nelson on the 24th.
