Seaforth had won three straight games and Ian Winger did his part to make it four on Monday. Everything went Seaforth's way against the Apex Friendship Patriots as Seaforth made off with a 3-0 win with plenty of help from Winger, who had five aces. Those five aces gave him a new career-high.

Seaforth never let Apex Friendship on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-7, 25-23.

Seaforth's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Apex Friendship, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Seaforth will face off against East Chapel Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Seaforth is facing East Chapel Hill at the right time seeing as East Chapel Hill is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Apex Friendship, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Millbrook at 6:00 p.m. on April 9.
