It was a good run, but Grand Lake unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays by a score of 44-42. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Fighting Blue Jays apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2019.

Grand Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for St. Edmund, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grand Lake will venture away from home to square off against Westlake at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Edmund, they will face off against St. Joseph's - Plaucheville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
