Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Jackson Outlar and Reese Bracey Lead Dillon Christian to Victory

Dillon Christian's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They strolled past the Lake View Wild Gators with points to spare, taking the game 59-45. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Dillon Christian was led to victory by Reese Bracey and Jackson Outlar. Bracey almost dropped a triple-double on 17 points, nine rebounds, and ten steals, while Outlar posted 24 points along with six assists and six boards. Bracey has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last three times he's played.

Several Wild Gators players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Timothy Waters, who put up seven points and 15 boards. Those seven points gave Waters a new career-high. Jamere Barden was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to seven rebounds and three blocks.

Dillon Christian's record now sits at 8-9. As for Lake View, they dropped their record down to 0-10 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Dillon Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 59-54 win against Florence Christian on the 17th. As for Lake View, they will challenge Green Sea Floyds at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
