Softball Recap: Willamina Takes a Loss

Willamina managed to slip by Dayton the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldogs lost 11-1 to the Pirates on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bulldogs have suffered since March 25, 2024.

Willamina has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-3 record this season. As for Dayton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Willamina is set to face off against their familiar foe Amity at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Dayton will square off against rival Santiam Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
