Volleyball Recap: The Ehrhart School Triumphs

The Ehrhart School's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the School of the Woods Wildcats.

The Ehrhart School had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-19, 25-12, 26-24.

The Ehrhart School found their leader in freshman Victoria Correa, who had 21 assists and seven digs.

When it comes to explaining why School of the Woods lost, don't look at Leah Salvatierra. Despite the final result, she had six digs, five kills, and three aces.

The Ehrhart School's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 5-8. As for School of the Woods, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Coincidentally, The Ehrhart School and School of the Woods will both be playing The Connection School of Houston the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Bears at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Wildcats will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
