Roanoke Rapids and Nash Central are an even 4-4 against one another since January of 2022, but not for long. The Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Nash Central Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Friday, Roanoke Rapids ended up a good deal behind Bunn and lost 48-34.

Meanwhile, Nash Central came tearing into Monday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They secured a 49-43 W over the Wildcats.

Roanoke Rapids dropped their record down to 6-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Nash Central, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.
