Volleyball Recap: East Lawrence's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

It was a good run, but East Lawrence unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the West Limestone Wildcats. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Macey Austin paced East Lawrence's offense, picking up seven kills. Austin got some help from Cheyenne Hackett and her nine assists.

East Lawrence's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for West Limestone, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season.

East Lawrence will host Deshler at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Limestone has already played their next matchup (against Athens), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
