Volleyball Recap: Park Hill South Takes a Loss

After flying high against North Kansas City last Tuesday, Park Hill South came back down to earth. The Panthers fell just short of the Park Hill Trojans by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Park Hill South actually scored more points across those five sets (103-99), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-22, 11-25, 23-25, 25-21, 15-10.

The loss snapped Park Hill South's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 18-9-1 record. As for Park Hill, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-14-1.

Park Hill South does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Park Hill, they will square off against Oak Park at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Northmen will roll in looking for their 20th straight victory, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight.
