Volleyball Recap: Heartland Christian Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against Clinton Christian Academy

Heartland Christian Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clinton Christian Academy Patriots on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

While Heartland Christian Academy ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20.

Clinton Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Heartland Christian Academy will challenge The Fulton on Friday. As for Clinton Christian Academy, they will head out to square off against Plaza Heights Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
