After losing to Hendersonville the last time they met, Springfield decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Springfield Yellow Jackets never let the Hendersonville Commandos get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Saturday. The one-run effort marked the Yellow Jackets' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Springfield now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Hendersonville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Springfield and Hendersonville will both be playing Jo Byrns the next time they take the field. Springfield will host Jo Byrns at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Hendersonville will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
