Volleyball Preview: Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves vs. North Saxons
The Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the North Saxons at 3:30 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Last Tuesday, it was close, but Wiseburn- Da Vinci sidestepped West for a 3-2 win.
Wiseburn- Da Vinci had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 19-25, 15-25, 25-13, 25-20, 16-14.
Meanwhile, North entered their tilt with Arcadia on Saturday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Apaches.
Wiseburn- Da Vinci's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-12. As for North, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.
