Volleyball Game Preview: Apple Valley Sun Devils vs. Serrano Diamondbacks

The Apple Valley Sun Devils will venture away from home to face off against the Serrano Diamondbacks at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Apple Valley is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

On Monday, Apple Valley came up short against Oak Hills and fell 3-1.

While Apple Valley had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-21, 13-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Serrano suffered their biggest loss since October 8, 2024 on Monday. They lost 3-0 to Hesperia. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Diamondbacks haven't been shut out since back in August.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-13, 25-15.

Serrano now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Apple Valley, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Apple Valley skirted past Serrano 3-2 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sun Devils since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
