Softball Game Preview: Alden-Hebron Green Giants vs. Christian Liberty Chargers

Alden-Hebron is on a four-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Christian Liberty a five-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Alden-Hebron Green Giants will host the Christian Liberty Chargers at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Alden-Hebron came up short against Ashton-Franklin Center on Wednesday, falling 19-2.

Alden-Hebron saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Toscano, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Christian Liberty had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 13-3 to St. Edward on Friday.

Alden-Hebron took their win against Christian Liberty in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 27-12 score. Will the Green Giants repeat their success, or do the Chargers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
