Basketball Game Preview: Oxbow Olympians vs. Thetford Academy Panthers

Oxbow hasn't had much luck against Thetford Academy recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Oxbow Olympians will look to defend their home court against the Thetford Academy Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Oxbow heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup on Monday. They were beaten by Montpelier 53-22. The contest marked the Olympians' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Thetford Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 52-33 bruising from U-32.

Thetford Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Oxbow, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-3.

Oxbow took their win against Thetford Academy in their previous matchup back in January by a conclusive 54-33. Does Oxbow have another victory up their sleeve, or will Thetford Academy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
