Softball Recap: Broadalbin-Perth Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Broadalbin-Perth's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Glens Falls Black Bears on Wednesday. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Black Bears recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Broadalbin-Perth's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Glens Falls, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Broadalbin-Perth is set to take on their familiar foe Hudson Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Glens Falls will challenge rival South Glens Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Black Bears 1.9, the Bulldogs 3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
