Basketball Recap: Van Buren Comes Up Short

Van Buren lost against Metropolitan back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Van Buren Vee Bees were outmatched by Metropolitan and fell 46-2. The matchup marked the Vee Bees' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Van Buren and nudges their season record down to 1-6. As for Metropolitan, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.

Van Buren will venture away from home to take on Architecture, Engineering and Construction at 4:30 p.m. on January 9th. As for Metropolitan, they will face off against IN-Tech Academy at 4:30 p.m. on January 9th.
