Soccer Recap: Boone Grove Takes a Loss

After flying high against DeMotte Christian last Tuesday, Boone Grove came back down to earth. Wolves fell just short of the Wheeler Bearcats by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Boone Grove came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 96th, while Wheeler are ranked 213th).

With the defeat, Boone Grove broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-3-1. As for Wheeler, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boone Grove will head out to take on Hanover Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wheeler, they will venture away from home to square off against Illiana Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
