Basketball Game Preview: DeMotte Christian Knights vs. Covenant Christian Warriors

Two dominant guards in Tony Bos and Isaac Crane are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The DeMotte Christian Knights and the Covenant Christian Warriors will round out the year against one another at at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Covenant Christian took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on DeMotte Christian, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, DeMotte Christian beat Hammond Academy of Science & Tech 38-34. The 38-point effort marked the Knights' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Covenant Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 54-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Greenwood Christian Academy.

DeMotte Christian will need focus on slowing down Crane, one of several Covenant Christian players who made an impact when they last played. He posted seven points along with seven boards and three steals. Bryce Harris was another key player, putting up eight points and four steals.

Covenant Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for DeMotte Christian, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
