Basketball Game Preview: Northside Christian Lions vs. Shekinah Christian Flames

The Northside Christian Lions will face off against the Shekinah Christian Flames at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northside Christian is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Northside Christian is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Genoa Christian Academy on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Northside Christian was beaten by Genoa Christian Academy 58-26. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 734th, while Genoa Christian Academy are ranked 277th).

Meanwhile, Shekinah Christian lost to Delaware Christian at home by a 51-33 margin on Saturday. The Flames have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Shekinah Christian's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-8. As for Northside Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.

Northside Christian was taken down by Shekinah Christian 49-18 in their previous meeting back in January. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Northside Christian was down 31-7.
