Volleyball Recap: Ladysmith Takes a Loss

Ladysmith lost against Cameron back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lumberjacks came up short against the Comets, falling 3-0. The Lumberjacks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Ladysmith was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22, 25-19.

Ladysmith's loss dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Cameron, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-11.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Ladysmith will take on rival Barron at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Cameron is set to challenge their familiar foe Unity at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
