Baseball Recap: Saydel Find Success

Saydel proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by ten) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the MOC-Floyd Valley Dutchmen 8-7.

Saydel has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for MOC-Floyd Valley, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-4.

Looking ahead, Saydel will take on Nevada at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for MOC-Floyd Valley, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 17-3 win against Le Mars on the 30th.
