Volleyball Recap: Ryan Has No Trouble Against Kennedale

After losing to Kennedale the last time they met, Ryan decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Raiders were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wildcats on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

Evangeline Trahan paced Ryan's offense, picking up 17 kills. Trahan got some help from Emery Hodge and her 15 assists. Hodge also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Jayce Patterson, each putting up two.

The win got Ryan back to even at 17-17. As for Kennedale, their loss ended an eight-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-16.

Looking ahead, Ryan will host Birdville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kennedale, they are taking a road trip to take on Alvarado at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
