Manhattan came tearing into Saturday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Junction City Bluejays. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-0 victory last Saturday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Manhattan took both sets by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-13.

Bailey Busch paced Manhattan's offense, picking up seven kills. Busch got some help from Keeli Tepe and her 19 assists. Evie Ruliffson and Madison Stanard kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Manhattan's win bumped their record up to 23-8. As for Junction City, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.

Coming up, Manhattan will take on Maize South at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Junction City has already played their next matchup (against South), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
