After a string of five wins, Dartmouth's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They came up short against the Old Rochester Regional Bulldogs, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Dartmouth was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-14, 25-9.

Chloe McKinnon paced Dartmouth's offense, picking up ten kills. McKinnon got some help from Lindsey Barber and her 15 assists.

Old Rochester Regional can attribute much of their success to Kaitlyn Rodrigues, who had seven digs and six aces. That's the most aces Rodrigues has posted since back in September of 2024.

Dartmouth's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Old Rochester Regional, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-2.

Looking ahead, Dartmouth will head out to take on New Bedford at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Old Rochester Regional, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dighton-Rehoboth Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
