Baseball Game Preview: Wynne Yellowjackets vs. Trumann Wildcats

For the second straight game, Wynne will face off against Trumann. The Yellowjackets will head out on the road to challenge the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Wynne has four straight wins, Trumann has nine straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Wynne's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Trumann 19-0. Considering the Yellowjackets have won eight games by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Wynne's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. As for Trumann, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.
