Pickett County had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were beaten by the Oakdale Eagles 39-0 on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

Coming up, Pickett County will be playing in front of their home fans against Sunbright at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Oakdale, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Jellico at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
