Baseball Game Preview: Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials vs. Wissahickon Trojans

For the second straight game, Plymouth Whitemarsh will face off against Wissahickon. The Colonials will welcome the Trojans at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Plymouth Whitemarsh didn't have quite enough to beat Wissahickon and fell 4-3.

Jake Rauscher was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in March.

At the plate, Plymouth Whitemarsh saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucas Fresta, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Plymouth Whitemarsh's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Wissahickon, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5-2.
