Basketball Game Preview: Brevard Christian War Eagles vs. Satellite Scorpions

The Brevard Christian War Eagles will take on the Satellite Scorpions at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Brevard Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.7 points per game this season.

Brevard Christian came up short against Florida Prep on Friday, falling 67-45.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Gabriel Mitchell, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten boards. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brendan Whitney, who posted six points along with eight rebounds and seven steals.

Meanwhile, Satellite was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 58-52 heartbreaker at the hands of West Shore.

Satellite's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Brevard Christian, they now have a losing record at 9-10.

Brevard Christian came up short against Satellite in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 65-59. Can Brevard Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
