Baseball Recap: Knott County Central Comes Up Short

Knott County Central extended their losing streak to five on Saturday, dropping them down to 18-11-1. They lost 9-2 to the Danville Admirals. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Patriots have suffered since March 28th.

As for Danville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-10. Considering they have won 12 matchups by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

For Danville's part, the team relied heavily on Hayden Foster, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that Foster has hit this season. DyiRon Moody was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Knott County Central has already played their next contest (against Perry County Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Danville, they will face off against East Jessamine at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
