Basketball Recap: Converse Comes Up Short

Converse lost against Hornbeck back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Converse Wildcats fell to the Hornbeck Hornets 49-43. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Converse's loss dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Hornbeck, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-10.

Converse will challenge Ebarb at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Converse is facing Ebarb at the right time seeing as Ebarb is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Hornbeck, they will square off against Simpson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Simpson's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight contests.
