It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pascagoula can now relate to. They took a 70-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ridgeland Titans on Thursday. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their 13-game winning streak.

Ridgeland's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ashton Manuel, who went 6-for-8 on his way to 21 points. The dominant performance also gave Manuel a new career-high in shooting accuracy (75%). Marquis Williams was another key player, going 7-for-9 en route to 15 points and five rebounds.

Pascagoula's defeat dropped their record down to 24-4. As for Ridgeland, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 30-4.

Pascagoula does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ridgeland, they will face off against Olive Branch at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Olive Branch's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight matchups.
