Baseball Preview: South Vermillion Wildcats vs. Covington Trojans

The South Vermillion Wildcats will head out on the road to square off against the Covington Trojans at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. South Vermillion is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

On Thursday, South Vermillion made easy work of Attica and carried off a 12-2 win.

However, it's not like Covington struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.8. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.

South Vermillion beat Covington 7-4 in their previous matchup back in May of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for South Vermillion since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
