Cross piles up the points against Academic Magnet

Recap: Cross Trojans vs. Academic Magnet Raptors
The Cross Trojans had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They claimed a resounding 77-32 win over Academic Magnet on the road. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-10.
Among those leading the charge was Caden Ramsey, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Preston Fuller, who scored 11 points along with 6 rebounds and 6 steals.
Cross' victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Academic Magnet, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Cross will be playing at home against Timberland at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Academic Magnet, they will head out on the road to face off against Charleston Math & Science at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Charleston Math & Science comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
