Basketball Game Preview: Morrison Mustangs vs. Polo Marcos

The Morrison Mustangs are taking a road trip to face off against the Polo Marcos at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

Morrison is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Erie-Prophetstown just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Monday. They fell to the Panthers 42-37.

Meanwhile, Polo entered their tilt with Stockton on Monday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Blackhawks by a score of 60-47.

Polo pushed their record up to 14-10 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.7 points per game. As for Morrison, their loss dropped their record down to 4-23.

Morrison was dealt a bruising 65-21 defeat at the hands of Polo in their previous matchup back in January. Can Morrison avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
