Soccer Recap: Gallup Comes Up Short

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Gallup and Rehoboth Christian had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Bengals fell just short of the Lynx by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. Gallup have struggled against Rehoboth Christian recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Gallup's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Rehoboth Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Coming up, Gallup is taking a road trip to take on Los Lunas at 4:00 p.m. on the 18th. As for Rehoboth Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against Miyamura on the 16th.
