Basketball Recap: XDOT Academy Takes a Loss

On Monday, the XDOT Academy Bison had to suffer through a 65-31 loss at the hands of the Woodson Cowboys. The contest marked the Bison's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Jace Munoz had an outrageously good game for Woodson as he went 11 of 19 on his way to 24 points and four steals. Those four steals gave Munoz a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Valentic, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 10 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

XDOT Academy dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Woodson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-7.

XDOT Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Woodson, they will take on Perrin-Whitt at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
