Softball Recap: Southwest Legacy Takes a Loss

Southwest Legacy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harlandale Indians. The Titans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 23-22.

Dulce Tovar made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Novalee Gloria, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Southwest Legacy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Harlandale, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-10 record.

Coincidentally, Southwest Legacy and Harlandale will both be playing Winn the next time they take the field. The Indians will host the Mavericks at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Titans will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
