Everything went Veritas Academy's way against the Texas School for the Deaf Rangers as Veritas Academy made off with a 54-34 victory. The win continues a trend for Veritas Academy in their matchups with Texas School for the Deaf: they've now won five in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Veritas Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Shepherd Smitheal, who posted five points and four steals. Smitheal continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Perry Kinane, who scored ten points and eight rebounds.

Veritas Academy pushed their record up to 13-15 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points over those games.
