Baseball Recap: Villanova Prep's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Villanova Prep came into Tuesday's game having lost 11 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with an 8-5 victory over the San Luis Obispo Classical Academy Grizzlies on Tuesday.

The win got Villanova Prep back to even at 1-1. As for San Luis Obispo Classical Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Villanova Prep will head out to challenge Ojai Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ojai Valley has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.4 runs per game on average), something Villanova Prep will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for San Luis Obispo Classical Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Coastal Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
