Basketball Recap: Richlands Takes a Loss

Richlands lost against Marion back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Richlands Blue Tornado lost 55-29 to the Marion Scarlet Hurricanes. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Blue Tornado have suffered against the Scarlet Hurricanes since February 8, 2022.

Richlands has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Marion, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Richlands will face off against Lebanon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Marion, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Grayson County at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
