Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kootenai). They put the hurt on the Mullan Tigers with a sharp 50-27 win on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Kootenai's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-8. As for Mullan, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Kootenai didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 51-16 loss against Deary on the 24th. As for Mullan, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Mullan Tigers face off against the Genesis Prep Academy Jaguars at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
