Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hubbertville). They claimed a resounding 95-61 victory over the Hackleburg Panthers. The Lions have beaten the Panthers the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Panthers has come to flipping the script.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hubbertville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Blaize Wakefield, who went 8-for-14 to rack up 20 points along with five assists and five boards. Wakefield is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games he's played. Cameron Pendley was another key player, shooting 82% from the field on his way to 22 points and six rebounds.

Hubbertville's record is now 7-1. As for Hackleburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-4.

Hubbertville will take on Lynn in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hackleburg and Vina will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
