Sanborn Regional had lost 11 straight at home dating back to last season, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 0-9 to make it 12. They lost 8-1 to the Pelham Pythons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 10-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

As for Pelham, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. That seven run margin sets a new team best for them this season.
