Preview: Tampa Bay Christian Academy vs. Union County
Tampa Bay Christian Academy have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will square off against Union County at 7:00 PM on Friday. Tampa Bay Christian Academy come in off of four low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.
Things haven't been easy for Tampa Bay Christian Academy, and their match two weeks ago only extended their streak of losses to four. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-44 to Kingdom Prep. On a positive note, junior Justin Dixon put forth a good effort for the losing side as he picked up 110 yards on the ground and accumulated 120 passing yards.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-40, which was the final score in Union County's tilt against Hawthorne last Friday. Union County were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-21.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Hopefully the teams can find a way to make up for their last outings by putting some points on the board this time.
